Frequently Asked Questions

Question:  How do I sign my child up to play?

Answer:  Please review the Registration page for information about signing your child up for baseball.  You are welcome to bring your child to a few practices first, to determine the level of interest.  Check the calendar or stop by the field to find the practice time appropriate for your child.

Question:  What should my child wear to baseball?

Answer:  Players should wear their uniform to games.  Players should wear baseball pants, sweat pants, or jeans to practice.  Players should always bring and wear a baseball hat during games and practices.  Baseball cleats or "tennis" shoes must be used.  Players in sandals will not be allowed to play or practice.  Older players should wear athletic supporters and protective cups to games and practices.  Remember that uniforms and practice clothing gets dirty--don't send your child wearing nice clothing.

Question:  My child is young and doesn't seem to take games and practices seriously.  Is it worth it to participate?

Answer:  Younger children frequently have a difficult time really trying to become better players.  We try to help all the children have fun so that baseball is a positive experience for them.  As they mature they begin to develop a desire to do better and that translates into a more serious attitude at practices and games.  We encourage you to continue to bring your child.

Question:  I can't find my child's uniform, should we still come to the game?

Answer:  Yes.  Children can play without a uniform.
